2023 HSC Millionaire Lottery Main Ticket and Draw Information

1. The 2023 HSC Millionaire Lottery main ticket prices are: Single ticket for $100, 2-Pack for $175, 4-Pack for $300, and 8-Pack for $500. Only 59,000 tickets will be sold.
2. The total retail value of prizes is $ 2,077,894.64 (excluding taxes) for the Main Lottery.
3. All persons participating in the 2023 HSC Millionaire Lottery must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
4. The Fall Bonus cutoff date for main ticket sales will be Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Midnight. The Fall Bonus draw will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the HSC Foundation Office at PW112-700 William Avenue, Winnipeg MB, R3E 0Z3.
5. The Super Bonus cutoff date for main ticket sales will be Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Midnight. The Super Bonus draw will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the HSC Foundation Office at PW112-700 William Avenue, Winnipeg MB, R3E 0Z3.
6. The Early Bird cutoff date for main ticket sales will be Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Midnight. The Early Bird draws will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the HSC Foundation Office at PW112-700 William Avenue, Winnipeg MB, R3E 0Z3.
7. The Final main ticket sales cutoff for all remaining prizes, including the Grand Prize, will be Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Midnight. All remaining main prize draws, excluding the Grand Prize draw, will begin on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. These draws will be in order of ascending retail value. All draws will take place at the HSC Foundation Office at PW112-700 William Avenue, Winnipeg MB, R3E 0Z3.
8. The Grand Prize draw will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. at the HSC Foundation Office at PW112-700 William Avenue, Winnipeg MB, R3E 0Z3.
9. In the event the 2023 HSC Millionaire Lottery Main tickets sell out before Midnight, Thursday, November 2, 2023, the following alternative draw dates will be used, except for the Fall Bonus, Super Bonus and Early Bird draws as noted above. All remaining main prize draws, excluding the Grand Prize draw, will begin on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. These draws will be in order of ascending retail value. All draws will take place at the HSC Foundation Office at PW112-700 William Avenue, Winnipeg MB, R3E 0Z3. The Grand Prize draw will take place on Thursday, November 16, 2023 and will occur between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. at the HSC Foundation Office at PW112-700 William Avenue, Winnipeg MB, R3E 0Z3.

Grand Prize Rules

10. The Grand Prize winner will have until no later than Friday, December 8, 2023 to make their selection of their choice options.  If the winner cannot be reached or does not indicate their selection to the HSC Foundation prior to 12:00 p.m. on Friday December 8, 2023, the cash option will be awarded. In the event the 2023 HSC Millionaire Lottery sells out prior to midnight, Thursday, November 2, 2023, the Grand Prize winner will have until Friday, November 24, 2023 to make their selection of their choice options. In the event that the winner cannot be reached or does not indicate their selection to the HSC Foundation prior to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, November 24, 2023, the cash option will be awarded.
11. Title transfer for Grand Prize Option 1, a Maric Homes house located at 216 Butterfly Way in Winnipeg would be on or before May 1, 2024; for Grand Prize Option 2, the home to be located at 34A-1000 Surfside Yacht Suites in Sooke, BC, would be on or before December 2025; for Grand Prize Option 3, a Gino’s home located at 224 Butterfly Way in Winnipeg would be on or before August 31, 2024; for Grand Prize Option 4, the home to be located at 7 – 7735 Okanagan Hills Boulevard, Vernon, BC, would be on or before December 15, 2024; for Grand Prize Option 5, a Sterling Homes house located at 7 Sidiqqui Ridge in Winnipeg would be on or before August 30, 2024; And for Grand Prize Option 6, a Daytona homes at 3 Avior Drive in Winnipeg would be on or before March 31, 2024.
12. Due to housing market fluctuations, the market value of the real estate prizes may rise or diminish over time. The winner or charity is not entitled to the difference, if any, between the stated and actual market value at the time the prize is awarded.

50/50 PLUS^® Draw Information

13. 50/50 PLUS^® ticket prices are 2-Pack for $20, 10-Pack for $40, 30-Pack for $60, and 60-Pack for $80, this will be sold to generate a maximum of $2,500,000 in ticket sales. Winner will receive 50% of ticket sales to a maximum of $1,250,000. The 50/50 PLUS^® minimum prize guarantee is $200,000.
14. 50/50 PLUS^® tickets can only be purchased if a 2023 HSC Millionaire Lottery main ticket(s) has been purchased.
15. The 50/50 PLUS^® ticket sales cut off is Midnight, Thursday, November 16, 2023, or earlier if Main tickets are sold out. The 50/50 PLUS^® draw will take place on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the HSC Foundation Office at PW112-700 William Avenue, Winnipeg MB, R3E 0Z3.
16. If the 2023 HSC Millionaire Lottery Main tickets sell out before Midnight, Thursday, November 2, 2023, the draw for the 50/50 PLUS^® will take place on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the HSC Foundation Office at PW112-700 William Avenue, Winnipeg MB, R3E 0Z3.

Extra Cash Plus™ Draw Information

17. Extra Cash Plus™ ticket prices are 2-Pack for $20, 5-Pack for $40, 15-Pack for $60, and 40-pack for $80. A maximum of 452,500 tickets will be sold. Tickets purchased will be eligible for all 120 draws in the Extra Cash Plus™.
18. Total retail value of the Extra Cash Plus™ prizes is $148,000.
19. The Extra Cash Plus™ tickets can only be purchased if a 2023 HSC Millionaire Lottery main ticket has been purchased.
20. The Extra Cash Plus™ ticket sales cut off is Midnight, Thursday, November 16, 2023 or earlier if the Main lottery tickets sell out. All Extra Cash Plus™ draws will take place on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the HSC Foundation Office at PW112-700 William Avenue, Winnipeg MB, R3E 0Z3.
21. If the 2023 HSC Millionaire Lottery Main tickets sell out before Midnight, Thursday, November 2, 2023, the Extra Cash Plus™ draws will take place on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the HSC Foundation Office at PW112-700 William Avenue, Winnipeg MB, R3E 0Z3.
22. There are 116 Extra Cash Plus™ Regular Winners of $1,000 Cash each.
23. There are 4 Extra Cash Plus™ Final Winners of $8,000 Cash each.

Other Rules:

24. The 50/50 PLUS^® and Extra Cash Plus™ tickets are available for purchase by any main ticket purchaser throughout the program. The addition of 50/50 PLUS^® and Extra Cash Plus™ tickets will only be accepted online at purchase.hscmillionaire.com/top-up or phone at 1-855-999-5688 after the initial main ticket purchase and must be purchased by the ticket deadline. All purchasers will require their initial order number and postal code to add additional 50/50 PLUS^® and Extra Cash Plus™ tickets to their original order. Additional purchases will be in the name of the original ticket purchaser and will be mailed or emailed to the address on the original purchase.
25. All draws, except for the Grand Prize draw, will be made using Random Number Generator software (RNG). The Grand Prize draw will be made by hand using a draw drum and numbered tokens corresponding to each ticketholder in the database.
26. Each ticket purchase is issued in only one person’s name and prizes will be issued only to the name of the person on the ticket. The person whose name is on the ticket is responsible for distributing any prizes in the event of a group purchase winning. All ticket packs are considered a single purchase and all tickets are issued in one person’s name.
27. Each winner, as a condition of accepting any prize, may be required to sign a declaration and release confirming such winner’s eligibility to participate in the 2023 HSC Millionaire Lottery and releasing the Foundation(s) from all claims, which may arise from or in connection with the awarding, receipt, use and/or misuse of any prize awarded.
28. Tickets can only be purchased within the Province of Manitoba. All non-residents must purchase tickets in-person at one of the retail ticket sale locations in Manitoba.
29. Once the 2023 HSC Millionaire Lottery tickets are purchased, they are non-transferable and non-refundable once the draw commences.
30. Ticket requests will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
31. All payments must be made in Canadian dollars.
32. A ticket is not considered purchased until a verified financial transaction is complete. Ticket request with cheques returned for insufficient funds (NSF) will be automatically voided. The Foundation has the right to charge persons $30 to cover NSF administrative costs.
33. A complete list of all winners will be published online at hscmillionaire.com within 5 days after the final raffle draw(s) have been completed. Upon request to the Foundation office, a listing of winners will be provided.
34. All prizes are tax-free. The 2023 HSC Millionaire Lottery ticket purchases are not tax deductible and no charitable donation receipts will be issued, as per Canada Revenue Agency regulations.
35. If the Grand Prize winner chooses one of the homes as their grand prize option, the Land Transfer Tax and the costs of transferring the home to the winner would be borne by the Foundation.
36. The Foundation reserves the right to use winners’ names and photos in communication, promotional, and media materials.
37. Members of the Board of Directors and employees and employees’ household members of the Health Sciences Centre Foundation and St. Boniface Hospital Foundation and members of licensed gaming suppliers providing services to this program are prohibited from purchasing tickets in the 2023 HSC Millionaire Lottery.
38. The winner of the Fall Bonus Draw # 1 will have up to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, October 20, 2023, to make their selection of their options. If notification has not been given to Foundation by then a cheque will be mailed out to the winner for the cash option value.
39. The winner of the Super Bonus Draw # 2 will have up to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, November 3, 2023, to make their selection of their options. If notification has not been given to the Foundation by then a cheque will be mailed out to the winners for the cash option value.
40. The winner of the Early Bird Draw # 3 will have up to 12:00 p.m. on Monday, November 27, 2023, to make their selection of their options. If notification has not been given to the Foundation by then a cheque will be mailed out to the winner for the cash option value.
41. The winners of draws 1210-2010 will have up to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, to make their selection of their choice options. If notification has not been given to the Foundation by then a cheque will be mailed out to the winners for the cash option value.
42. Destination travel vouchers from Indigeno are for travel from Winnipeg Richardson International Airport. If possible, all travel must be completed by December 31, 2026. In the event travel is not possible, the cash option value will be provided to the winner. It is the responsibility of the winner to purchase travel insurance. Additional costs over the prize value are the responsibility of the winner.
43. All unclaimed prizes become property of the 2023 HSC Millionaire Lottery 90 days after the draw has been performed unless otherwise specified in these rules. We will notify winners by mail and/or by email followed by one telephone call.
44. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure the email and postal address on their ticket is correct.
45. Each ticket is eligible to win one prize in each prize category. A prize category is defined as each group of identical prizes on the official list of prizes. After each prize category draw is completed, all tickets go back in the draw for the next prize category draws.
46. All main prize draws will be drawn in order of ascending retail value.
47. All prizes must be accepted as awarded. Some restrictions may apply.
48. Prizes awarded may not be exactly as illustrated in any advertising.
49. Winners are required to present photo identification to claim their prizes valued over $30,000.
50. All winners will be contacted using the information provided on the ticket at the time of purchase.
51. The Foundation’s ticket sellers reserve the right to refuse purchasers if their safety feels compromised.
52. All ticket holders have the right to witness the draws. In the event we are unable to allow the draws to be open to the public, the draws will be video recorded and available to all ticket holders for viewing on our website at hscmillionaire.com.
53. Unless otherwise stated in these raffle rules, winners will have 14 days from the date notifying them of their prize options to make their selection.
54. The liability of the Health Sciences Centre Foundation is limited to the ticket pack price paid in the event a ticket pack is purchased but not processed or entered into the draw.
